Those who know me well are aware of how deeply connected I am to my valley. That’s why, in 2018, I decided to start a photographic project to capture Val Cavargna from above.
With the help of my colleague Massimo Piccoli, I began photographing the various towns and some of the small hamlets with a drone.
The project isn’t finished yet, and soon I hope to photograph more corners of the valley and perhaps repeat some shots during the autumn, when the valley turns into a canvas of a thousand colours… or in winter, when it’s all covered in soft snow.
